Our story
Thirty five years, one lake, one family business.
Ron and Carol started renting cabins at Bass Lake before the internet, with a phone on the wall and a paper book of repeat guests. The business has stayed in the family, and the office has stayed on Road 432.
What began as one cabin and a handful of summer families is now more than forty homes around the lake: lakefront lodges, lake view cabins, condos behind the gates at North Shore, and a few small places that have been in the same family since the fifties.
The houses changed. The work did not. Someone still walks each home before arrival, the towels are still counted, and the guest who calls at nine in the evening still gets a person who knows the property.
We are a rental office, not a platform. We do not take a booking fee, we do not hand your reservation to a third party manager, and we do not pretend a house is something it is not.
That is also why this site looks the way it does. Guests deserve to see the room they are actually renting, in the best honest light, and to know the walk, the dock and the total before they decide.
We manage, we do not list
Every home on this site is cleaned, inspected and stocked by our own team. If something is wrong at the house, it is ours to fix, same day.
We say no when it does not fit
If your group needs a ground floor bedroom and the house has stairs, we will point you somewhere else. A bad fit is a bad week for everyone.

Guests remember the names, which tells you most of it. Between them the office team has handled decades of arrivals, a relocated bear or two, and more than one wedding party that needed a bigger house by Thursday.
